Badgers to win it all?

If you’re like me, you get really excited about sports statistics. So, that would really be just… me.
Anyway… I came across this site which someone referenced on the Wisconsin Badgers CBS Sports message board:
Specifically, someone mentioned the Badgers as one of 5 teams likely to win it all.
This surprised me as I expect them to depart at the round of 16. Their rationale was that every champion had either their offense or defense ranked in the top 10 in the country, and the other ranked in the top 20. Wisconsin, as of 3/13, is one of 4 teams (Kansas, Duke, UCLA) to fit this criteria (the poster added UNC because they were close and had other extenuating circumstances).
Now, the reason I expect Wisconsin to lose when they will (at this point in time) is that they may be playing Duke in their third game. I won’t go into too many details about this matchup, suffice to say that it’s rather unlucky that they would have to face Duke at that stage, though there’s still plenty of time for things to settle out some more.
All that said, I don’t believe I’ll be picking Wisconsin to go all the way, though I’ll be rooting for them all the way.
